As a longtime owner of my S2000, I love every part of it, except for the "cup holders". I ran the Modifry cup holder mount in the passenger footwell but then it still felt pretty useless to have a large compartment in the center console that didn't have a proper divider.
Meet the upgraded cup holder insert that I designed for the AP2 center consoles. It is wider and deeper than the OEM cup holders, it doesn't taper to a smaller width like the stock one. I also designed it to accommodate the large cups we get from fast food restaurants these days. Rather than trying to squeeze two small sized cups, the divider was designed to have 5 different positions to accommodate whatever sized cup you have. Having a solid divider also allows you to use one of the pockets to store items.
It is properly reverse engineered to use the stock push button of the OEM cup holder; the tolerances are 1:1 of the OEM cup holder, you will be using the stock screws. Everything from the mounting ears to the slight taper of the rail section for the door is present. This cup holder is 3D printed in ABS. I highly value quality so I print these slowly for the best finish.
